Event Cover

Windsor Lifeguards has an established reputation for providing safety cover to ensure the safety of participants at many open water events. These include large scale events such as the World Rowing Championships and we've played a major part in the water safety team at The Royal Windsor Triathlon. We also provide safety cover for smaller multi-sport events, rowing regattas, corporate days, open water swims and swimming club river swims.

Our fleet of rescue craft includes a 5.8m long fully equipped and propguarded lifeguard RIB, 2 fully equipped and propguarded Doreys and sea canoe Surfskis to cater for all events. Combined with our experienced volunteers, we ensure everyone's safety in, on and around the water.

All our coxwains are RYA Power Boat II qualified and we currenlty have five members of the club qualified to this standard.
